MINNEAPOLIS PILOT TERMS · JULY 17, 2026
A safety net,
not permission to park.
These working pilot terms explain the boundaries of the current Curbito service. They should receive Minnesota legal review before a public beta or paid launch.
Driver responsibility
You remain responsible for reading and following posted signs, meter rules, temporary notices, Snow Emergency instructions, and lawful directions from authorities. Curbito does not cancel, delay, contest, or control enforcement.
No guaranteed warning
Location, motion recognition, wireless delivery, government feeds, and partner systems can be late, incomplete, unavailable, or inaccurate. Curbito cannot guarantee that it will detect a parking session, restriction, citation, or tow event.
Urgent communications
Push alerts are part of protection. SMS and automated voice calls require separate opt-in and a verified phone number. Carrier charges may apply. You may withdraw SMS or voice consent at any time; disabling all notifications prevents Curbito from warning you.
Pilot conduct
Do not use Curbito to evade lawful enforcement, interfere with a tow operator or public employee, save a phone or vehicle you are not authorized to monitor, or send abusive or unlawful support content.
Invited drivers
Invite only a driver who is authorized to use the selected vehicle. An invited driver receives only the vehicle-specific alert access shown during acceptance, not ownership rights or permission to drive. Owners and drivers may revoke access at any time. Curbito does not provide a household trip log or continuous location sharing.
Smart-home connections
A private smart-home feed is an optional convenience and may be delayed or unavailable. Keep its URL secret, revoke it if exposed, and review the connected platform's own privacy and security terms. Curbito keeps plate, exact-location, and trip data out of the Home Assistant feed. Sensitive vehicle announcements require a separate opt-in where supported.
City reports
Curbito can explain published City eligibility rules and open an official reporting route. Unless an authorized integration expressly confirms otherwise, Curbito does not submit the report, create a City case, guarantee inspection, or know the outcome. Do not trespass, confront another person, or place yourself in danger to gather report details.
Contact
Questions, complaints, missed-alert reports, and privacy requests can be submitted in the app or sent to hello@curbito.com.
